Second Serve team members reaches out to local businesses and restaurants, asking if they are willing to donate excess food and partner with us.
If they agree, our team determines a schedule to pick up surplus food after the restaurant closes.
A volunteer will go to the restaurant, pick up the food, and donate it to a local shelter/organization that same night.
Throughout this process, Second Serve:
Guarantees food safety, hygiene and freshness
Assures a safe storage space for food if necessary.
